An Israeli architecture firm sees the utmost importance in making the website accessible, for the benefit of people with disabilities, thus enabling the majority of the population to browse the firm's website easily and comfortably.
The site was built in accordance with the accessibility instructions that appear in the
W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0, level AA
The following are some of the actions taken as part of making the company's website accessible
- The means of navigation and orientation on the site are simple and easy to use.
- Installation of an accessibility plugin that gives users various tools in browsing the site (changing font size, clarity of graphics, highlighting links, etc.)
- Add a tag to the images (at the code level), and check which images the description is missing (alt text).
- The content of the site is written in a simple and clear language and is well organized through titles and lists.
- A fixed and uniform structure for all sub-sites and pages on the site.
- The site is optimized for viewing the different types of browsers such as Chrome, Mozila
- Adapting the site to work environments of different resolutions.
- Graphic objects have a textual alternative (alt).
- THE SITE ALLOWS CHANGING THE FONT SIZE BY USING THE CTRL KEY AND THE MOUSE WHEEL.
- The links on the site are clear and contain an explanation of where they link.
- Option to change the size of the texts on the site using one of the three text size buttons at the top of the page
