With endless marble countertops and lots of storage cabinets.
As an architect, I see a direct connection between the prevailing agrarian consumer culture in Israel and the kitchen and its size.
When I enter people's homes, I usually see kitchens full of cooking utensils and equipment, as well as large quantities of food, especially objects that are not used at all on a daily basis.
When I plan a kitchen, I always look at the cooking habits, hospitality, and how the family tends to eat.
Do they cook every day, and spend many hours in the kitchen, or install simple meals?
Do they eat together every day around a dining table or do they each eat where they want?
Do they host every weekend, and if so, how many people ?
Is the hospitality a multi-course feast, or just coffee, cake and snacks?
According to me, a kitchen should not be large nor enormous.
The kitchen should provide a spacious work surface, along with efficient and useful storage units.
Beyond that, household items and food, unused electrical appliances, etc., are desirable and preferable to sell / give / give a donation.
They just waste you a very expensive 'real estate space'.
As for storing food and shopping in the supermarket, you don't have to be your supermarket's second warehouse.

That way, you have better control over your finances.
You always keep food in the kitchen that hasn't expired, and the quantities you need.
